EUC Blogs

EUC Blog

The EUC Blog is an initiative of the European Union Center (EUC) at the University of Illinois, USA. It is intended as a forum for the sharing of ideas about issues related to the EU. Blog participants include the faculty, students, and wider community of affiliates of the EUC, as well as members of the general public with interests in the European Union. On this blog, you will find:

  • commentaries on contemporary and historical developments in the EU
  • links to research publications generated by scholars affiliated with EUC
  • videos of past EUC events, such as lectures and symposia
  • coverage of a broad spectrum of EU issues in the areas of politics, economics, law, security, culture, social policy, and more

The Conversation on Transatlanticism and Europe (CEURO) project is a unique academic experience that brings together students and scholars from two Jean Monnet Centers of Excellence: the European Union Center (EUC) at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and the Center for European Studies (CES) at KU Leuven. This blog presents essays, policy briefings, research articles, video interviews, and more from program participants. See the project website for more information.
