Biography

Le’Passion Darby is a native of Chicago, Illinois, a Learning Designer by trade, and an expert on campus artifacts, campus heritage, and material culture at colleges and universities worldwide. Prior to studying learning design, Le’Passion managed college readiness programs for first-generation, college-bound students for our nation’s most notable youth development organizations for 13 years, including the Boys & Girls Club, the YMCA, and the YWCA. During her tenure at the YWCA Evanston/North Shore, Le’Passion honed a niche for using campus artifacts, campus heritage, and campus tourism to prepare students for college selection, acculturation, and completion. Le’Passion holds graduate degrees in Adult and Higher Education and Learning Design and Leadership, respectively. Since 2004, Le’Passion has toured more than 100 colleges and universities in Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, North America, and South America.
