Lauren Seitz is a PhD candidate in Communication at University of Illinois. She holds a BA in English and French from Ball State University and an MA in Communication Studies from Colorado State University. She studies rhetorics of nationalism, populism, and contemporary far right politics in Europe, and her research focuses on discourses of national belonging in the public sphere.
